What to expect on your first visit

Your initial consultation will usually be approximately 45 minutes, with your chiropractor going through a detailed history and physical examination in order to determine the areas of your body where treatment will be focussed.

Depending on your specific case, a referral for x-rays may also be arranged, in order to gain a better understanding of what is going on in your body, and to optimise your treatment plan.
After completing a full assessment, your chiropractor will discuss the findings of your physical exam and with your consent, commence treatment.

What to expect on follow-up visits:

Follow-up visits are generally 15 minutes, with extended appointments of 30 minutes booked for those requiring or requesting acupuncture or soft tissue therapies.

A standard appointment usually involves questioning about how your body has been functioning since your last appointment and gathering any new information, followed by your spinal adjustment and any other therapy/rehabilitation exercises that have been discussed as part of your treatment programme.

Appointment schedules:

Your appointments are scheduled to enable you to optimise your health. Please be sure to make up any appointments you have to miss.

Should you be unable to make your appointment, we would appreciate as much notice as possible in order to enable others to use this time.
